Hello and Welcome to the Bats Class page.  The class is taught by Mrs Meekings and is supported by Mrs Chehaider.

The children have two PE lessons a week this year.  The first, on Tuesdays, is taken by me and will be football.  The second of the children’s PE lessons  is on Wednesday and will be dodgeball. This  will be taken by Miss Richardson. Your child will need a full PE kit on both days as these lessons will take place out of doors as often as they can. Please make sure everything is named as things often go missing. A reminder that all jewellery needs to be removed for these lessons and that if your child has long hair it needs to be tied back. 

Our topic this term is Off With Her Head. The children make an in depth study of the Tudors as part of the History objective and in English  will read Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ as well as Macbeth.

Homework for this term is  set on Google classroom. It will be set on a Tuesday and expected to be in by the following Monday.  The expectation is that all children will complete homework either at home or by attending homework club, which will take place on Wednesday.
