Welcome to Hedgehog Class.
The Early Years team are Mrs Byrne, Mrs Kelly and Mrs Burke.
We hope you have all enjoyed the recent Easter break. For this, the first half of the summer term, our topic is Baby Animals. We will think about a variety of creatures and how they live and grow.
Our P.E. days remain Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so please ensure you have a named P.E. kit in school every week.
We will continue to work on our three P's of Paddocks; Pride, Persistence and Purpose as we engage with our school community.
As part of our maths work this half-term we will be exploring numbers to twenty and beyond as well as sharing and grouping and identifying counting patterns.
We will continue with our Phonics work, developing our confidence with tricky words and using them to expand captions and sentences.
We will share lots of stories linked to our topic as well as learning the traditional tale 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff.'
We are very much looking forward to continuing our school journey together.
