"Pride - Persistence - Purpose"

Welcome to Hedgehog Class.

The Early Years team are Mrs Byrne, Ms Graham and Mrs Burke.

We hope you have all had an enjoyable Easter break and we welcome you back for the first half of the summer term.

Our topic this half-term is 'Baby Animals' in which we will learn about a variety of animals, how they live and grow.

Our P.E. days are  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so please ensure you have a named P.E. kit in school every week.

We will explore our three P's of Paddocks; Pride, Persistence and Purpose as we engage with our school community.

As part of our maths work this half-term we will be thinking about numbers to twenty and beyond.

We will continue to engage with Phonics and will develop confidence with identifying and reading letters and words, including capital and lower-case letters.

We will share lots of stories linked to our topic as well as learning the traditional tale 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff.'

We are very much looking forward to an exciting half-term ahead.

If you would like to get in touch,  please email me at eraina.byrne@paddocks.suffolk.sch.uk.

Thank you.
