Welcome to Hedgehog Class.

The Early Years team are Mrs Byrne, Ms Graham and Mrs Burke.

We hope you have all had an enjoyable summer break and we welcome you all for the start of your new school journey. 

Our topic this half-term is 'Me and My World' in which we will learn all about ourselves, our families and our friends as we start school together. 

Our P.E. days are  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so please ensure you have a named P.E. kit in school every week. 

We will explore our three P's of Paddocks; Pride, Persistence and Purpose as we engage with our school community. 

As part of our maths work this half-term we will be thinking about matching and sorting, comparing amounts and exploring patterns. 

We will be introduced to Phonics and identify a variety of letters.

We will share lots of stories linked to our topic as well as learning the traditional tale 'The Three Little Pigs.'

We are very much looking forward to an exciting half-term ahead.
