"Pride - Persistence - Purpose"

Welcome to Hedgehog Class.

The Early Years team are Mrs Byrne, Miss Ace and Mrs Kelly.

For this, the first half-term of the summer term, our topic is 'Baby Animals'. We will think about the animals we know and how they live and grow.

Our P.E. days are Tuesday and Wednesday. Please bring a named P.E. kit into school.

We will continue to work on our three P's of Paddocks; pride, persistence and purpose and exploring how we can feel part of our school community.

As part of our maths work this half-term we will be thinking about numbers to twenty and beyond and  asking 'how many now?' We will also be sharing and grouping a variety of different numbers.

We will continue to develop our phonic knowledge by independently reading a variety of captions and sentences.

We will share lots of stories linked to our topic as well as learning the traditional tale 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff.'

We are very much looking forward to continuing our school journey together.

Thank you all for your support.
