Welcome to Hedgehog Class.
The Early Years team are Mrs Byrne, Mrs Kelly and Mrs Burke.
We hope you have all had an enjoyable half-term and we welcome you back for the first half of the spring term.
Our topic this half-term is 'Superheroes' in which we will learn about some of the Superheroes we know as well as how we can all be 'superheroes' in our own way.
Our P.E. days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so please ensure you have a named P.E. kit in school every week.
We will explore our three P's of Paddocks; Pride, Persistence and Purpose as we engage with our school community.
As part of our maths work this half-term we will be comparing numbers to five, growing six, seven and eight and exploring mass and capacity.
We will continue to engage with Phonics and will develop confidence with identifying and reading letters and words, including capital and lower-case letters.
We will share lots of stories linked to our topic as well as learning the traditional tale 'The Magic Porridge Pot.'
We are very much looking forward to an exciting half-term ahead.
If you would like to get in touch, please email me at eraina.byrne@paddocks.suffolk.sch.uk.
Thank you.
