Early Help Offer

Our Family Support Advisor  leads on our Early Help Offer.  This is an approach we use to support families through difficult times and access additional support if necessary.  Our aim is to help children and families at the first sign of difficulties in order to prevent problems from escalating. 

Our Early Help Offer is linked closely to our Safeguarding policy and procedures and our Family Support Advisor meets regularly with members of the SLT (Senior Leadership Team) to discuss individual children and families who would benefit from Early Help.

Our Early Help Offer includes all of the following school processes and procedures:

- Family Support Advisor support

- PHSE curriculum, including online safety teaching

- ELSA groups

- Nurture group

- Lunchtime Playleaders and Peer Mentors

- Pupil Progress meetings

- Attendance monitoring

- Signposting to outside agencies
