"Achieving Success by Learning Together"

School Governors

Kay Pearce
(Chair)

I have been a Governor for the last 10 years and Chair for 4 years.  In my role as Governor I also attend meetings of the Resources Committee and the Achievement and Learning Committee.  I  work as a Teaching Assistant and have NVQ level 2 in children’s care, learning and development and NVQ Level 3 in supporting teaching and learning.  I also hold a  Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.   To my role as Governor I bring my experience in education, along with my knowledge of administrative management including areas of finance and personnel.  Through my current work I am trained in safeguarding and child protection issues.  Both my children attended Paddocks.

Maya Bullen
(Vice Chair)

I’m a parent governor because I wanted to be involved our local community, and have a say in the school’s strategy and future plans.

I want to help ensure that Paddocks continues to be an excellent primary school for all of its pupils.

I became a governor in 2018. I am the Vice Chair, and the Literacy Governor.

Michael Lowther

With both of my children attending Paddocks, I wanted to be involved as much as I could with their school journey.

Whilst helping out with clubs and events was rewarding, I felt that I could give a little more back to the school which had already given my children a great start.

I became a Parent Governor in 2016 to fulfil my ambition.

Andrew Owen

Nicola Sheail

I became a Governor at Paddocks in November 2017 and sit on the Achievement & Learning and Resources Committees.

I am also the SEN (Special Educational Needs) Governor for the school.

I have worked in HR for nearly 20 years and hope to bring this experience to my Governors role helping others to become the best that they can be.

Amanda Thompson (Headteacher)

Nic Wilson
